As you may have heard, our warehouse had a small electrical fire today.  Luckily the employees and books are alright, and only spooked on an apropos day for strange occurrences.

Thanks to those who have expressed their concern!

"books are alright"?

This story:

would seem to indicate that 20,000-50,000 books received water damage, and that does not count any smoke damage.

Do you have any info to update?

If you have an email address that you can send to Jack@betterworldbooks.com I can give you the official write-up, as given by our insurance company that will tell you the real numbers, as opposed to those originally posted by the news.
